Lauren Lester is a solo attorney and entrepreneur, who considers herself a lifelong student and teacher of building a law practice you love. She's the founder of two businesses: Lester Law, a client-centered estate planning and prenup firm helping Colorado families protect what matters most, and A Different Practice, where she teaches attorneys how to build profitable, sustainable practices so they can earn more and work less.
Lauren opened her practice straight out of law school in 2015. She holds a JD from Georgia State University College of Law and a BA from the University of Florida (Go Gators!).
She's the author of Value Over Time, a guide to value-based pricing for legal practitioners, and has been an advocate for flat-fee, human-centered legal work for over ten years. She was awarded the ABA's Brown Select Award for Legal Access in 2023.
When she's not lawyering or teaching, you'll find her with her partner and daughters, reading in a cozy nook, outside in the Colorado sunshine, and tending to her backyard beehive.
